Support for Young People

Below are a number of organisations that might be able to help if you need support. 

If you are struggling with your mental health, please talk to us and we can support you to access further help.  We do not offer any crisis services but we can signpost you to organisations and services locally and online.

The Brandon Centre - Offering help & advice | Coaching services, mental health support, counselling, and psychotherapy available. C card scheme.

The Hive Hub – drop in for 16-24 year olds to access support for health and wellbeing

Getting Help in a Crisis - iCope - always call 999 in an emergency. If not an immediate emergency but you are still concerned about your safety, you can call our Camden and Islington crisis teams on their freephone number 0800 917 3333.

Kooth is a free, safe and anonymous online mental health and wellbeing website that offers confidential support to children and young people aged 11-25 in Camden

NCL Waiting Room – Explore over 300 wellbeing support options across NCL for young people, their families and professionals.

Voice Collective – a forum for young people who hear voices, visions or have other sensory experiences they would like support with.

Camden Rise - A place for young people to access support and find opportunities to get involved in locally and get involved in their communities

Beat charity - Eating Disorder Support, helpline and information

Papyrus - Suicide prevention charity supporting young people with helpline to talk about suicide with a trained professional via the HOPEline 24/7

Young Minds – youth mental health resources, support and information. Helpline for parent/carers too.

Samaritans – Contact for listening support for whatever is on your mind 24/7

Shout text service for under 19s - text YM to 85258 for mental health text support, or for crisis line text SHOUT

Childline locker: 24/7 - 1-2-1 counsellor chat or online message board

The Mix: general support for young people under 25 (web chat or counselling)
